Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition spotted on ratings board
The collection contains both the base game and The Burning Shores DLC
An announcement for a ‘complete edition’ of Horizon Forbidden West may be imminent, as a listing for the game has been spotted on a rating board.
The listing, which is still currently live on the Singapore rating’s board, the IMDA, lists the game as “Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition.”
“Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is a compilation containing the original adventure game Horizon Forbidden West (Advisory 16) and Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores expansion,” reads the classification.
Due to the potential for a same-sex relationship to be depicted on screen as part of the expansion, the game has received a M18 rating from the board.
Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores expansion sees Aloy travel to the ruins of Los Angeles in order to track down information about the ancient progenitor race that Aloy battled in the main game.
The DLC was ‘review bombed’ on Metacritic with negative scores as a response to an optional plot point that lets players choose to have protagonist Aloy kiss the female hero Seyka.
Metacritic spoke out against the “abusive and disrespectful reviews”, and said: “We are currently evolving our processes and tools to introduce stricter moderation in the coming months.”
